We will feel surrounded but not give into the spirit of fear

We will be rattled but remain rooted

We will feel loss but know we are not defined by it

We will feel like we don't have direction but still be guided on the right path

We will be afraid but still stand by who we are

We will feel awkward but still speak our truth 

We will feel inadequate but be empowered by our gifts and purpose

We will be overwhelmed but still have a sound mind 

We will make mistakes but not be ashamed

We will overcome even if we don't know how

There is a love that reaches out for us,

beckoning us from our hiding place

Finding safety and order in the chaos and uncertainty

I am finding my way,

but am sure of these things

Here is my certainty
