fair is fair in love and war

not

fair

the

outcry

you learn

to measure

fairness

by doing

the right

thing

not in what

others

perceive

the tedium

the mundane

who can ever

see what

can only be seen

alone

in love and

at war

be fair

for the victory

is in the act

itself

a protest

a silent accolade

a whimsical

contest

with no ribbon

nor spoils

but fairness

still

prevails though

it

cannot

be measured

in these things

just

prevail

anyway
